• Emulates MCM776x Character Generators: Designed to work with a standard ROM, this adapter PCB accurately replicates the functionality of the original MCM776x character generators used in the TRS-80 Model 1.

• ROM Compatibility: The adapter PCB allows the use of various ROMs, including 2x64, 2x128, 2x256, and 2x512 configurations (e.g., 27512 or 28512).

• Address Selection: For larger ROMs, the adapter enables you to select the address of a specific character set on the ROM using the attached DIP-switch board. The DIP-switch board can be detached from the adapter and positioned further away, or even outside the case, by attaching a cable between them.

• Solder Jumper Option: The DIP-switch board can also be fully removed, allowing selection of the character set address through solder jumpers on the PCB.
