Bring new life to your vintage TRS-80 Model 1 with our new MX Keyboard PCB. Designed to replace the original keyboard, this PCB addresses the common issues of aging keyboards, such as broken switches and missing keycaps. With ALPS key switches becoming increasingly expensive and original keycaps no longer in production, our PCB offers a practical and cost-effective solution, using modern MX style key switches.
This PCB fits within the TRS-80 Model 1 case without requiring any modifications. Depending on your key switch combination, including the addition of two keys next to the shorter spacebar, you can even use the original keyboard bezel.
Please note that this product includes only the PCB. Additional parts, such as the keyboard shield for proper positioning within the computer case and custom keycaps, are needed to complete the keyboard assembly. All these components are available in our store.
